Well one thing is for sure, it absolutely kills the PvP aspect of the game.Instead
of being able to hone and fine-tune one's toon to battle other players,WOW Gold,
everyone is issued the equivalent of a Rockem-Sockem Robot and invited
to simply pound away at other plastic-molded competitors.

Personally, I loved creating my own builds, ones designed to support
and enhance my desired playstyle and sometimes to help compensate for
weaknesses inherent in my class or skill ability.  That process was
quite fun, actually.Thankfully, there are a great number of games today that offer gobs and gobs of such freedom and choice.With the loss of reforging you lose a way to put a minor tweak to your
stats, the ability to go and get a different piece of gear with more
optimal stats still exists...

When another game or games do something better than WoW, then it is most
certainly appropriate to mention this.The same is true in reverse.Not taking a side, but examples would be great."There are games better
than WoW, I swear!" is different than "I think GW2 is better at X
because Y" or "I liked Warhammer, but wish they did Z like WoW does."
 It makes it more difficult to reply with "He's just a WoW-hater", and
therefore helps start a honest & constructive conversation.

I don't think WoW will be less complex in WoD than it is *now*, and I
even agree that it is more complex now than at launch merely because so
much has been added. While I don't miss the
complexity-for-the-sake-of-complexity things like reagents and poisons
and food for pets and ammunition, I cannot deny that it was largely
those complexities (tedious though they were) that really sucked me in
to WoW in the first place. It was like D&D or GURPS, but a 3D video
game.I miss pen and paper RPG games. Or maybe I just miss the spontaneity and endless possibility they offered.
