MapleStory M is Nexon attempt to deliver the MapleStory MMORPG to Android. It has been eliminated, but it does not mean on bringing the franchise to mobile Nexon has given up. Back in October of 2016 MapleStory M was released in Korea, but there was no Maplestory 2 Mesos word about an English release. It seems like we know for sure that an English version is coming stateside because a public beta is up on the Play Store at the moment.
Now, one thing you will want to keep in mind is that the recent English record of MapleStory M will just be available on the Play Store until January 30th. The official release is planned for sometime. As the clock is counting down Therefore, if you want to jump into the MMORPG gameplay, you ought to do so post haste. It's also worth pointing out that the game's servers will be wiped after this beta is finished, so any progress that you make in the sport is going to be lost when it's officially published. Fortunately any in-app purchases that will undoubtedly be in the last release are not active with this beta, so there's no way to get rid of any cash while analyzing out the title. If you are unfamiliar with MapleStory, it is an extremely popular Korean 2D MMORPG that's been available on PC since 2003. That's never seemed to stop any of its fans, and yes it is extremely pay-to-win, although yes it is super grindy. As for what sets MapleStory M apart from its PC predecessor, nicely, not much, and that's a good thing. Sure, there are a quality of life enhancements for touchscreen controls that are simpler. One of those is the inclusion of an auto questing button at the top left of this display, just like you'd expect to see in nearly all mobile MMOs out there. Of course, any automobile features are optional, so you are free to perform how you enjoy, which is great for those people who intend on playing manually. Oh, and if you're counting on any type of best of MS2 Mesos controller support, the current beta has no such feature. Maybe this will probably be added in later, but that is most likely a stretch because the game was available in Korea for a little more than a year now, as far as I knowit doesn't have control support either.
