    Our friends over at The Verge, who have been following the growth of the Maplestory M Mesos mobile version quite closely, seem to think there could be robots in this game, made to present a meaty target and instill confidence in fresh players. They have been playing with the Chinese version of the game, which was released a bit earlier than the variant here in the United States, for approximately a week longer than we've. Here's their take:
    One major difference from the other versions is that the presence of robots, seemingly designed to assist new players get to grips with the sport. As you level up, the ratio of real players to robots raises, and it's simple to tell the difference -- that the robots are fairly dumb and don't put up much of a fight. This might be disappointing to listen for everyone who plays for the first time and is amazed by their particular latent skill level, but it's a clever way to ensure people have a fantastic experience when they play Maple Story.
    We've reached out to the groups in Maple Story Corp. and Tencent for remark, but the presence of robots at reduced levels is unconfirmed.

      Small things such as a locked auto-sprint, a cleaner UI and better handling with touch-screen controls create Maple Story a more enjoyable mobile experience. It also just Maplestory M Mesos performs better in general, with a cleaner frame-rate (it performs better than the Xbox One version of Maple Story also.)
      The auto pick-up mechanic is remarkably intuitive in Maple Story cellular as well, and the addition of bots helps make the game accessible to newcomers right off the bat. All of this adds up to one fact: Maple Story mobile only feels like an authentic cellular sport, whereas Fortnite doesn't--at least not yet.
      Maybe Maple Story cellphone's greatest weakness is still trying to be too accurate to the first game. The maps are just too large and the games too long. If Tencent and Maple Story Corp would give us a couple smaller maps--maybe a 2 km x 2 km map? Smaller? --it would be the perfect mobile battle royale. This new level is a quarter the size of Erangel or Miramar, which would be the two existing maps which are live on the servers right now. To make sure that Savage is equally as good as possible as it goes live, Maple Story Corp. is asking for your feedback on how it plays.
      To acquire that feedback, the studio will hold a more benefit closed testing stage that begins April 2 at 7 p.m. Pacific time and ends April 5 at 4 a.m. Pacific.

            Personally, my main breakthrough with "Fortnite" was simply big platform enjoying the game on another device.
            I'd spent probably a few dozen hours enjoying "Fortnite" in my PlayStation 4, unsuccessfully, before I eventually tried downloading the game for my iPhone X. I detected a quick and immediate advancement.
            For some reference: Ahead of enjoying "Fortnite" on my iPhone, I was never able to successfully hit anyone using a sniper rifle whilst playing my PS4. However, I got two sniper kills -- not only hits, but kills -- in a few of my first matches once I shifted to my iPhone. Generally, I've found it's a lot easier to move, build, aim, and shoot on the iPhone compared to the PlayStation 4. And I bet it's even easier if you play the game on PC.

                  It was the Wild West, or at least a tamer version of it, and buy OSRS gold folks were daring then. It became much more than just a game for its many players who roamed its realms.

                    In retrospect, this was always likely to happen. I wrote about this at the time, but Maple Story's main difficulty was that its appeal was all concept while implementation lagged. The idea of 100 players falling on a big map to scavenge weapons and fight it out hit a maplestory2 mesos chord with the gambling public, and the game climbed despite being at a somewhat rugged version of early access. That is exactly what occurred when Epic chose a swing.
                    As a counterpoint, we will look at Overwatch. Overwatch didn't invent the class-based shooter, just like Maple Story did not invent Battle Royale. However, it popularized it in this moment and because of this it has observed a wave of imitators just like Maple Story. None of these imitators have been able to match Overwatch's success, however, largely because heavyweight doesn't actually begin to describe a programmer like Blizzard. It had the technical stability, development and marketing muscle to keep things clean. Other developers could do well imitating its achievement, but taking it down was just going to be near impossible.
                    After Epic entered the Battle Royale world, it failed using entry to the sort of drive Blizzard uses to keep Overwatch on top, as well as the sort of specialized expertise that just the company which makes Unreal Engine really can assert. Most important in this is stability: bugs, hiccups and cheaters were something which Maple Story players dwelt because of the crucial appeal. As it turned out, though, a developer like Epic was effective at making a far more stable product, and ultimately that's just a better way to perform.                       First up is a comprehensive and fascinating perspective on the design philosophy behind the Undying. Developers believed that the Undying had become a "relatively unremarkable monster type" and wished to do something more to help it stand out from the game. Of course, some skills worked better than others in this respect, however, as Rory says, all of this is a part and parcel of game development. .
                      We had prototyped a ability codenamed "Infernal Sweep" that was a fiery subject of effect sweep assault that burst nearby corpses. Early testing showed it felt awful to use, having to swing twice to kill some enemies then again to detonate their bodies to get larger area damage. The skill was visually spectacular, but did not play well unless it was mmogo coupon codes fostered in the starting area and damage to the point where it invalidated the functions of Sweep and Infernal Blow. This skill went back to the drawing board and we'll probably see it in future with additional mechanics or without the dependence on corpses.
